About this Role - CAD Technician
We are looking for a talented CAD Technician that has a passion for quality construction. This position is responsible for providing support to operations on civil construction projects.
What You'll Do
- Assist in the site development and access for electric utility projects throughout the country
- Create and update models using Trimble Business Center
- Perform Takeoff's using Trimble Business Center
- Work with customer and field management on schedule development and assist in maintaining during the course of a project
- Able to localize a site, verify grades, collect topography and as built information
- Collect data from the field to report daily production quantities
- Assist field personnel with troubleshooting GPS equipment
- Interact with customer on project with positive long-term relationship in mind
- Overall be a support mechanism for the Project Supervision and staff
- Be willing to take on multiple projects and dedicate the time and efforts to ensure a safe and profitable project with a very satisfied customer
- Maintain informational databases, records, general data archives, or files using technical software
- Ensure compliance with company, federal, and state codes
