This is your opportunity to join Auer team! Auer Steel & Heating Supply Co. is a wholesale distributor of HVAC equipment and supplies. Known for our customer service and quality products, Auer Steel has been operating since 1940.
We are currently hiring a CAD Operator to work in our Milwaukee, WI location. This position is best suited for an organized, responsible, and detail-oriented individual who is looking for a career with-in a well-established company.
WHAT DOES THIS POSITION DO?
  • Draft HVAC plans, piping diagrams, control diagrams and refrigeration diagrams under the direct supervision of the Design Engineer or Salesperson.
  • Backup Design Engineers in their absence to answer customer questions.
  • Prepare plans, loads and appropriate paperwork for submittal to local and State agencies.
  • Prepare inspection packets for all submitted design projects.
  • Promotes and maintains a flexible cooperative, positive, team-oriented attitude with and between departments and end users.
  • Travel to architects, contractors or government agencies to pick up or drop off plans.
  • Other duties as assigned.

WHAT IS REQUIRED?
  • Associate's degree in CAD or HVAC or 1 2 years equivalent experience in Auto CAD or other 2D modeling systems.
