Job description

The Bonding Tech sets up and operates manufacturing equipment associated with material fabrication and target bonding.

You will get the opportunity to:

  • Operate various equipment including, but not limited to saws, grinders, sanders, bonding equipment, laser engravers and computers

  • Monitor the transfer of all customers backing plates using a computer program.

  • Cross training for C-Scan of targets and target assemblies required

  • Finish clean and vacuum seal finished targets in the clean room

  • Create spreadsheets using Microsoft Excel

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Proficient using micrometers, calipers and measuring instruments is preferred.

  • Six months previous manufacturing experience.

  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as shop orders, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, blueprints and procedure manuals.

  • Math skills and computer skills required.

  • Must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 45 pounds.

  • Must be able to work flexible schedule and hours dependent upon business needs/as necessary.

Pay Range:

$21.50 - $30.00

Actual base salary offered varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.

The selection of the person to be hired for this position is contingent on the candidate having export compliance eligibility for access to U.S. controlled technology which comes under the licensing jurisdiction of the U.S. Department of State, International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and the U.S. Department of Commerce, Export Administration Regulations (EAR).

The candidate selected will have to qualify as either a U.S. citizen, a U.S. National, a lawful permanent resident of the U.S., a Person Admitted into the U.S. as an Asylee or Refugee., a National of a country that is not prohibited from having access to U.S. controlled technology (via a letter of assurance), or a Person to be approved for an export license by the governing agency whose technology comes under its jurisdiction.
