Certified Medication Technician + GNA Full-Time or Part-Time Day or Night Shift
Join Ginger Cove, a premier life-care retirement community in Annapolis known for exceptional care, strong teamwork, and a supportive work environment.
We are currently hiring Full-Time and Part-Time dual-certified GNA (CNA-I) and Medication Technicians to join our Assisted Living and Health Center team.
Schedule & Perks:
Full-Time or Part-Time available
Day Shift OR Night Shift opportunities only
Day Shift: 6:45 AM - 3:15 PM
Night Shift: 10:45 PM - 7:15 AM
Alternating weekends required
Shift differential for nights and weekends
Dual certification pay
Consistent scheduling with supportive team coverage
What You'll Do:
As a GNA/Med Tech, you will provide hands-on resident care and assist with medication administration under the supervision of licensed nursing staff:
  • Safely prepare, administer, and document medications
  • Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, grooming, dressing, feeding, toileting, mobility)
  • Obtain and document vital signs
  • Monitor residents and report changes in condition to nursing staff
  • Support hydration, nutrition, and comfort needs
  • Encourage participation in restorative programs and activities
  • Maintain safe, clean, and sanitary work environments
  • Follow infection control and safety procedures
  • Attend required in-service training and education sessions
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Job Qualifications:
  • Current Maryland GNA (CNA-I) and Medication Technician certifications
  • CPR/First Aid certification (or ability to obtain)
  • Minimum 2 years' experience as a Med Tech; geriatric experience preferred
  • Strong communication, organizational, and computer skills
  • Must display professional, compassionate, and tactful behavior
  • Willingness to complete state-mandated educational requirements
