Position Overview
The Inventory Control Operator is responsible for coordinating all kitting functions to support production operations. This role ensures ingredients and materials are ordered, inspected, documented, and prepared accurately according to customer batch sheets and production schedules. The Inventory Control Operator supports food safety, GMP, quality, and inventory accuracy standards while ensuring pre-kits are ready to meet production demands.
What You'll Do
  • Coordinate ingredient and material kitting for production runs.
  • Review batch sheets and verify production requirements against schedules.
  • Order and return ingredients in accordance with CNP SOPs.
  • Maintain accurate inventory, batch sheet, and Redzone documentation.
  • Perform data entry for ingredient and material tracking, including lot numbers, weights, and item references.
  • Operate forklifts and support material movement activities.
  • Ensure compliance with GMP, food safety, quality, and safety standards.
  • Use Redzone applications for shift communication, safety activities, batch tracking, and operational updates.
  • Perform basic calculations and unit conversions related to production batching.
  • Support team operations and perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements
What You'll Need
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Forklift experience or ability to obtain certification.
  • 2+ years of warehouse or manufacturing experience preferred.
  • RF scanner experience preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy.
  • Basic math and measurement conversion skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while meeting safety, quality, and production goals.
