Key Responsibilities:

The Microgrid Control Center Operator will report to the Manager of Control Center. Microgrid Control Center Operator responsibilities will be wide ranging, with an emphasis on the development of the NOC for future expected growth. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, great attention to detail, the ability to multi-task and make quick decisions under pressure, and deep knowledge of control center operations.

Requirements

 Basic (Required) Qualifications:

  • Evaluate real time system conditions within different energy markets; run and monitor generation assets to support our customers and the applicable energy grid.
  • Utilize proprietary SCADA dashboards, aggregated deployment controls, and visualization tools to control and monitor generation assets throughout the country.
  • Coordinate with ERock technicians and third parties to complete preventative and corrective maintenance, fueling logistics, and numerous other field related activities.
  • Become familiar with contractual obligations.
  • Additional responsibilities may be added at the direction of ERock management.
  • The ability to work in a 24/7 environment
  • Assess and diagnose abnormal conditions that occur.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or relevant experience
  • Process operating background a plus
  • Power Plant Control Center experience a plus
  • Understanding of power generation a plus
  • Strong computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
  • Ability to work both individually and in a team environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal skills to work with different departments.
  • Excellent analytical skills and a strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to multi-task and make decisive decisions under pressure.
  • Additional responsibilities may be added at the direction of Company's management.
  • A flexible, driven personality with the ability quickly learn and implement new systems and knowledge
