Job Description
Produces machined parts by setting up and operating a computer numerical control (CNC) machine; maintaining quality and safety standards; keeping records; maintaining equipment and supplies.
Responsibilities:
  • Setup and operation of Fanuc & HAAS CNC milling centers using Master CAM software.
  • Utilize blueprints, sketches, drawings, specifications, or sample parts to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished work piece, sequence of operations, and setup requirements.
  • Work to close tolerances using required gauges and inspection knowledge.
  • Document information pertaining to setup and operation of each job utilizing written descriptions, sketches and/or photos.
  • Train junior operators/apprentices.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned.

Qualifications
Technical Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • 3-7 years of manual machining and CNC setup and operation utilizing conversational programming.
  • Proficiency in Master CAM software preferred
  • Must have a high work ethic, be a team player and work with a since of urgency.
  • Ability to read and comprehend complex machine and component drawings.
  • Ability speak/read English and understand verbal instructions.
  • Ability to analyze and solve problems.
  • Detailed oriented, self-motivated, ability to work well with limited supervision.
  • Ability to train others.
  • Ability to work overtime and on weekends as needed for the position.
