Job description

  • You'll follow Operating Discipline principles and procedures to keep the plant running safely and efficiently
  • Operating and checking process equipment in the field will be part of your daily routine, along with monitoring process conditions, equipment, and control systems
  • You'll work with multiple, complex plant computer control systems to manage operations smoothly
  • Troubleshooting skills will come in handy to quickly resolve any process-related issues or deviations
  • You'll perform minor repairs, improvements, and preventative maintenance on process equipment to keep everything reliable
  • Maintaining clear and professional communication with contractors, visitors, customers, colleagues, and management is important
  • Using your process knowledge, you'll look for ways to improve plant performance and Operating Discipline
  • Coaching and training others on plant operations will also be part of your role, helping the team grow and succeed
