Position Overview:

The UNIQLO Campus Talent Acquisition Manager is responsible for the sourcing and selection of candidates for UNIQLO's Management Candidate Program and Internship Program. As a subject matter expert in this area, they are accountable for maintaining and developing new recruiting strategies for UNIQLO's UMC and Internship Programs.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Create and manage pipeline for new graduates to join Uniqlo Management Program.

  • Develop and lead University relationships for long term value.

  • Develop, cultivate, and maintain university partnerships with key academic leaders and stakeholders.

  • Lead in the implementation of the recruiting strategy on campus, enhancing the organization's brand and reputation at select regional and national universities.

  • Lead a high performing, and highly engaged UMC Team focusing on their development and performance expectations.

  • Partner with Director of Stores and HR Area Managers to create hiring goals based on store and business needs.

  • Coordinate and participate in campus recruiting activities such as presentations, career fairs, office and campus interviews, networking receptions/dinners etc.

  • Establish and maintain relationships with career centers, faculty and students and initiate activities on campus to promote the organization at selected programs including but not limited to advertising, career fairs, information sessions, speaker series events and on-campus interviews.

  • Lead the development and execution of the summer intern program for both in-store and corporate office; including but not limited to intern performance evaluations, social event planning and monitoring of staffing and budgeting.

  • Record, update and analyze all recruiting data for schools.

  • Develop an external network within the marketplace to understand competition, salaries, and make recommendations to the team based on this knowledge.

  • Manage recruitment budget for on-campus activities and intern events and keep cost controls at point of every decision.

  • Strategize across recruitment function to develop and implement social media initiatives

  • Responsible for orientation of new manager trainees along with Learning and Development Team to provide smooth transition to company values and culture.

  • Adjust and create training programs with Learning and Development Team to ensure manager trainees can become store managers within 9 months of hire.

  • Other related duties to be assigned by direct supervisor

Qualifications:

  • 4 years of prior recruiting experience required; at least 2 years of college recruiting experience

  • Bachelor's Degree required, preferably in Business, Marketing, HR or related field

  • Strong communication, interpersonal, public speaking and presentation skills

  • Ability to work independently and as an integral part of a team

  • Proficient in office computer software/systems (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

  • Willingness to travel as needed during peak recruiting seasons (approximately 30%)F

  • Flexibility to work evenings during recruitment and summer seasons

  • Proficient in major social media networks

  • Previous experience using an applicant tracking system

  • Excellent listening, written and oral communication skills

  • Regular, dependable attendance and punctuality

** US Travel may be required: 30%.

**Salary: $140,000 - $167,000* annually**

The offered salary or salary range is based on several factors, including, but not limited to, overall experience, relevant experience, education level, certifications, applicable skills and expertise, and location of the position.
