Internship Summary As a Director of Sales and Marketing SkillBridge Intern at Juniper Communities, you will gain hands-on leadership experience managing community outreach, occupancy strategy, and lead generation in a hospitality retirement environment. You'll help develop and implement marketing initiatives, build and maintain referral networks, and guide prospective residents and their families through the decision-making journey-all while coordinating internal team efforts to drive community occupancy

This internship blends strategic planning, performance management, and relationship-building across digital and in-person channels. You'll also gain exposure to market analysis, branding, and the operational alignment of sales goals with broader organizational strategy. Responsibilities: Manage community sales efforts including prospecting, lead tracking, and closing Build and maintain relationships with referral sources and community partners Lead and coach the Sales and Marketing team Implement marketing plans and track performance metrics Develop and maintain a community outreach and networking calendar Ensure compliance with Juniper's values and regulatory policies Create and oversee the move-in process and welcome experience for new residents Provide customer service and tour training for staff Maintain CRM accuracy and sales reporting Collaborate across departments to support community-wide events and campaigns Monitor and manage department budgets, supplies, and reporting Educational/Vocational Requirements: High school diploma required; associate or bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or related field preferred Prior experience in sales, marketing, recruiting, or public engagement Strong organizational and presentation skills Computer proficiency (Microsoft Office, CRM systems) Understanding of the aging population's needs is a plus Compensation Range: If hired after the internship the target compensation range is $70K - $82K.
