Role Overview:
We're looking for an Help Desk Technician Intern to support our internal IT operations and help ensure our teams have the tools and systems they need to work efficiently and securely. This internship is ideal for someone interested in IT support, systems administration, or corporate IT operations and eager to gain hands-on experience in a real-world environment.
 
You'll work closely with our IT Team, gaining exposure to user support, hardware/software management, and IT best practices. 
 
What You'll Do:
- Provide first-line IT support for employees (hardware, software, access issues)
- Assist with onboarding and offboarding (laptops, accounts, permissions)
- Troubleshoot basic network, device, and application issues
- Assist with running, labeling, and terminating network cabling as needed
- Support the installation, configuration, and basic troubleshooting of security camera systems
- Escalate unresolved issues to senior IT staff as needed
- Assist with special IT projects as needed

What We're Looking For
  • Currently pursuing (or recently completed) coursework in IT, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
  • Basic understanding of computers, operating systems (Windows/macOS), and common applications
  • Interest in IT administration, systems support, or help desk work
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Good communication skills and a customer-service mindset
  • Ability to handle sensitive information responsibly
Nice To Have (No Required)
  • Experience with ticketing systems or IT support tools
  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Atlassian, Okta, Unifi/Cisco.
  • Basic networking or hardware troubleshooting experience
  • Prior internship, campus IT, or tech support experience
Additional Requirements
This is a fast-paced, high-impact environment - flexibility to occasionally work extended hours or weekends during critical periods is expected.
Duration - 6 Months
