Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Identify and onboard log sources into the organization's security event management (SIEM) system to enhance monitoring and visibility
  • Partner with security analysts to develop and document SOC playbooks for incident response and standard operating procedures
  • Create and maintain dashboards to track security metrics, KPIs, and KRIs, supporting data-driven decision making
  • Assist with security awareness initiatives, including training coordination, testing efforts, and user engagement
Qualifications

Education and/or Experience

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a bachelor's or master's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline
  • Exposure through coursework, internships, or academic projects related to technology, security, systems engineering, or data analysis is preferred
  • Strong interest in enterprise technology, cybersecurity, systems architecture, and applying technical solutions to support business operations

Skills and Abilities

  • Analytical and problem-solving mindset with the ability to break down complex, loosely defined problems
  • Ability to present insights clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience working with relational databases
