Summary of Duties and Responsibilities
As an Information Security Assurance Associate (Intern), you will be a key part of the security operations team. You will work closely with cybersecurity professionals to monitor, analyze, and enhance the organization's security posture. The role will involve direct engagement in vulnerability assessments, incident response, and systems monitoring, providing hands-on experience in the operational side of cybersecurity. Responsibilities include:
  • Monitor security systems and respond to security incidents.
  • Assist in real-time analysis of security threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Support daily operations in a Security Operations Center (SOC), including log analysis and incident reporting.
  • Conduct system vulnerability scans and assist with remediation efforts.
  • Assist with the implementation and maintenance of security policies and procedures.
  • Participate in the deployment and testing of security controls and technologies.

Qualifications
• Pursuing or completed a degree in Cybersecurity, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
