Weld Technician | Mason, MI

Salary Range: $44,000 - $69,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We partner with manufacturers across Mason seeking Weld Technicians who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform welding operations using various techniques (MIG, TIG, Stick) on diverse materials.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schews, and engineering specifications to determine welding requirements.
  • Inspect welded components for quality, defects, and adherence to established standards and specifications.
  • Set up and operate welding equipment, including adjusting parameters for optimal performance.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve welding-related issues, making necessary adjustments or repairs.
  • Maintain welding equipment and tools, ensuring they are in good working condition and properly calibrated.
  • Collaborate with engineers and production teams to optimize welding processes and improve product quality.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures related to welding operations and workplace safety.

Recommended Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • AWS Certified Welder (CW) certification
