Job description:
Short description: This position is for a Datacenter Networking Enterprise Architect F5 that serves as a primary resource for F5 configuration, security, management, and troubleshooting
Complete description: The individual must be able to work with developers of different Agencies to confirm suggestions made by the F5 for different applications, requesting of certificates, and the implementation of any new learning suggestions before and during implementation.
They will be responsible for maintaining their ticket queue within the Remedy Ticketing System utilized within to maintain Service Level Agreements.
They may also be asked to participate in troubleshooting and design meetings for different applications within.
Answers and makes phone calls as necessary. Reads, comprehends, and complies with email messages in timely basis.
Must be able to work at least two days-a-week onsite at the worksite address.
Knowledge of Cloudflare is required.
Skills/Experience:
F5 LTM Experience including:
• Creation of VIP's (Virtual IP)
• Troubleshooting knowledge
• Installation and renewal of Certificates
• Irule creation and modification.
F5 GTM Experience including:
• Wide IP's Created
F5 ASM Experience including:
• Creation of policies.
• Fine tuning of policies while in learning mode.
• Troubleshoot policies while placed after blocking mode
• Monitor new learning suggestions
F5 APM Experience including:
• Creation of SAML policies
• Troubleshoot the issues.
F5 Device-level experience including:
• Remediate CVEs
• Ihealth/qkview knowledge
• Open support ticket with F5 (last resort)
• Should be able to upgrade devices
• Device clean up ( unused objects)
• BIGIQ (for daily config back up from all devices)
Work cooperatively with others in a team environment to meet the expected levels of customer service.
