Time Basis: Full-Time

Benefits: Full
Starting Salary: $4,825.00 per month
Licensed-Certified Salary determined by the NC Department of Public Instruction.

Retention Bonus Opportunity
GCS offers a $4,000 annual retention stipend for licensed educators hired into designated Career and Technical Education (CTE) Hard-to-Fill positions in the following areas:











  • Information Technology (Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity, Computer/Network Engineering)
  • Healthcare (Nursing Fundamentals)
  • Aviation (Aerospace Technology)

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Candidates must meet all NCDPI licensure and certification requirements for instruction in these areas.
  • Teachers must serve in the Hard-to-Fill position and then return to the same position the following school year to qualify.

Payment Details:

  • The stipend is awarded as a lump sum payment of $4,000, paid each September of the school year.
