IAP World Services, an Intrepid Global Solutions company, is a recognized leader in Facilities Management and Operations in support of Defense, Intelligence, and National Security missions. Under a major Intelligence Community contract, IAP provides facility services including operations, maintenance, engineering, logistics, construction, grounds, custodial, environmental, safety, safety, access control, events, and food services. IAP is seeking a Computer-Aided Design (CAD) and Building Information Modeling Manager.

Job Responsibilities: • Provides expert technical leadership and guidance to the Computer-Aided Design (CAD) and Building Information Modeling (BIM) team, mentoring team members, overseeing project deliverables, and ensuring successful project execution aligned with NGA standards. This includes providing advanced support across facility management domains (space management, project design, emergency management, security planning, and asset management) • Leads development, implementation, and improvement of CAD/BIM standards, best practices, workflows, QC procedures, standardization documents, and innovative processes/technologies • Oversees creation, modification, and maintenance of accurate 2D/3D models/drawings, ensuring NGA compliance and IWMS-ARCHIBUS integration • Develops Design Intent Documents (DIDs) and other technical documentation using CAD/BIM software, guiding team application • Oversees and participates in model/drawing development for various projects (modifications, renovations, new construction, upgrades), providing QA/QC reviews. • Leads generation/updating of specialized CAD/BIM drawings/models for facility management needs (emergency plans, security, asset tracking, maintenance) • Oversees/conducts space/seat audits (including field verification) to ensure data accuracy and inform space planning/optimization.

Updates CAD/BIM data • Maintains accuracy/integrity of Agency "GOLD MASTER" facility CAD/BIM drawings/models, reflecting as-built conditions and incorporating red lines/revisions. • Manages complex CAD/BIM configurations, ensuring NGA compliance and driving standards improvements • Oversees generation/updating of facility space drawing booklets (print/electronic) and other documentation, ensuring clear CAD/BIM process documentation • Leads maintenance/publication of CAD/BIM graphics/data to IWMS-ARCHIBUS. Develops advanced reports/visualizations for facility management • Leads CAD/BIM coordination meetings, facilitating design reviews, clash detection, and problem-solving.

Represents the team in stakeholder interactions • Provides expert CAD/BIM technical support/training to internal stakeholders • Guides/mentors engineers/contractors on NGA CAD/BIM standards, ensuring data consistency throughout the project lifecycle • Supports Project Managers/Engineers with complex BIM modeling/CAD production, contributing to project deliverables • Leads development/maintenance of specialized BIM models for facility management applications (space management, emergency preparedness, maintenance, asset management) • Troubleshoots complex CAD/BIM software/hardware/data issues and guides team members on troubleshooting • Oversees work product delivery within timelines/budgets • Leads CAD/BIM/GIS data integration with ARCHIBUS, leveraging advanced techniques and developing workflows; research/recommends new technologies • Performs other related duties as assigned Required/Desired Skills and Experience: • Demonstrated proficiency in BIM technologies within an Architectural, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) environment, with experience supporting facility management projects • Solid working knowledge of Autodesk Revit, including parametric modeling, family creation, and work-sharing. Experience using Revit on projects of moderate complexity • Proven ability to follow established BIM standards, best practices, and workflows. Experience managing individual project tasks and contributing to team efforts.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit. Familiarity with other relevant BIM and CAD software is a plus. Holds at least one relevant Autodesk Professional certification (e.g., Revit Architecture, AutoCAD) • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve common BIM coordination issues within a project context.

• Experience with additional 3D modeling and geospatial software such as SketchUp, Rhino, and Esri ArcGIS, and an understanding of how these platforms can integrate with BIM workflows • Practical understanding of facilities management principles and experience using ARCHIBUS or other CAFM/CMMS/IWMS platforms for data entry, query, and reporting • Familiarity with data integration and interoperability concepts and experience with basic data exchange techniques between different software platforms • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to project team members and stakeholders. Experience presenting information in a clear and concise manner • Basic understanding of BIM Execution Planning and the development of project-specific BIM requirements Education: Bachelor's Degree and 10+ Years of experience.
