The Opportunity:

Your deep data science expertise coupled with an original approach to your work will help clients and stakeholders make sense of their data and encourage actionable results. We're looking for someone like you to lead complex data exploration and analytics projects through your experience with statistics for the Department of Defense.
As an advanced data scientist and researcher on our national security team, you'll evaluate AI methodologies to make a real-world impact on AI usage in strategic intelligence. You'll grow your skills in continuous auditing, testing, evaluation, verification, and validation ( TEVV ) , and AI risk mitigation, to shape the future of analytics through a variety of means. We'll keep you sharp and moving forward in your career, with access to online courses and opportunities to publish or present at conferences. Whether you're using AI to improve government efficiency or developing new TEVV procedures, you'll guide a team that serves critical missions from end to end.

You Have:
  • 8+ years of experience correlating complex technical findings into graphical, written, visual, and verbal narrative products
  • 5+ years of experience with object-oriented programming (OOP) and functional programming to build modular and scalable testing libraries
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, including AI/ML validation
  • Experience with building automated data input modules, synthetic data generation for testing, and managing high-integrity "Gold Standard" datasets for testing and evaluation
  • Experience working on classified networks in support of DoD or IC clients
  • Ability to work independently with minimal oversight and direction
  • Ability to visualize complex data and concepts for non-technical leadership, highlighting system risks and "go or no-go" criteria clearly
  • Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam
  • Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of experience with scientific techniques, such as mathematics, statistics, information science, AI, machine learning, probability modeling, data mining, data engineering, or data warehousing, or 12+ years of experience with scientific techniques, such as mathematics, statistics, information science, AI, machine learning, probability modeling, data mining, data engineering, or data warehousing, in lieu of a degree

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $99,000.00 to $225,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
