Minimum Qualifications:
Education:
  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Individual shall already possess or shall obtain CompTIA Security+ Continuing Education or Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification within six months of hire.
  • Individual shall be working towards the relevant certifications within one and a half year after assuming duties: Professional Software Engineering Master (PSEM)/ Certified Software Development Professional (CSDP) or with COR approval complete a vendor/platform specific certification: Microsoft role-based certifications, Microsoft Certified Applicable s Developer (MCAD), Microsoft Certified Database Administrator (MCDBA), Red Hat Certification Program (RHCP), CISCO Certified Network Professional (CCNP), CISCO Certified Design Professional (CCDP), Oracle Certified Professional (OCP), VMWare Certified Professional (VCP), Cloud certifications, etc.

Experience:
  • Five (5) years of Computerized System experience, to include: Design, Development, Test and Evaluation, Network Protocols, LAN administration fundamentals, and UNIX and Windows based operating system.
  • Demonstrated experience with a C4ISR Program of Record (PoR) such as DCGS-MC All Source, DCGS-MC GEOINT, or DCGS-MC SIGINT. Experience may be achieved simultaneously.
  • Up to 10% travel required.
  • Strong experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) and Bash scripting.
  • Experience with containerization technology.
  • Secret level Clearance required, TS/SCI Preferred.

Job Description:
VNE is seeking a Computer System Analyst III to help provide systems lifecycle support to the Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) Atlantic.
The Computer System Analyst III provides technical expertise and support in one or more of the following areas:
  • Testing and evaluation (T&E) support to DCGS-MC, participating in WIPTs, working groups, CCBs, and engineering review groups.
  • Cybersecurity support to DCGS-MC, implementing and maintaining cybersecurity practices acquisition life cycle (initial design, development, testing, fielding and operation).
  • Configuration management (CM) support to the DCGS-MC program (hardware and software), supporting all activities related to CM planning, baseline management, configuration identification, configuration control, configuration audits, formal reviews, engineering changes, and configuration management records and reports.
  • Quality management (inclusive implementation of a QA/QC program), executing establish PPQA processes to ensure requirements are met prior to submission of documentation, supplies, products, and services to DCGS-MC leadership.

Essential Duties of the Job:
  • Ability to communicate task requirement information to client in a clear and concise manner.
  • Must be able to sit and stand for prolonged periods of time, as well as lead and participate in meetings and working groups.
  • Requires visual acuity to use a keyboard.
  • Must be able to attend work each day, during scheduled hours, unless on travel or approved time off.
  • Ability to work on computer for long periods, and communicate with individuals by telephone, email and face-to-face
