Job Summary:Under supervision, prepares design drawings of moderate to difficult complexity based on verbal instructions, sketches, and/or formal documents.

Responsibilities

Prepares floor plans, site plans, equipment and component design drawings and other drawings for construction and remodel projects using computer aided drafting techniques. Utilizes latest versions of Revit and AutoCAD software and maintains current knowledge of CAD technology principles and applications. Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED; at least 1 year of experience that is directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified. Certificate of Competency in Drafting preferred. AutoCAD, Revit and BIM experience preferred. Advanced computer knowledge and skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Basic proficiency using Microsoft tools including MS Word, Outlook, and Excel.

Working Conditions: Work involves moderate exposure to unusual elements, such as outside temperatures, dirt, dust, and/or noises. Work functions will be performed in an office area located on an active construction site
