Job description

Press Machine Helper / Operator
Type: Full-time, temp to hire
Pay: $17-$18 / hour depending upon experience
Schedule: 7am-4:30pm, Monday โ€“ Thursday; 7am-11am Fridays
OT: Optional overtime available as needed
Location: Euclid
What you need to be successful in this role:
  • Experience in a factory setting, stamping or any type of production equipment preferred
  • Prior press machine operator experience a plus
  • Dexterity and comfortable working with hands a plus
  • Good communication skills
  • Quality oriented, attention to detail
  • Safety oriented
  • Self-starter and work with minimal supervision after initial training period
  • Able to stand on feet and be mobile for duration of shift (physically demanding)
Responsibilities / Activities:
  • Assist large press operators in loading and unloading materials; experience with cranes and other lifting equipment a plus
  • Operate press machines to create products according to specifications
  • Keep daily basic production/cycle counts, computer data entry for scanning and logging production counts
  • General labor activities such as routine cleaning, trash removal, basic groundskeeping or assisting in other production activities.
Education / Experience:
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in the stamping industry or piece/part manufacturing is preferred
  • Computer literacy (Windows/Office environment)
Physical Demands:
  • Standing and walking โ€“ 95%; Sitting โ€“ 5%.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds.
