We're in search of a Regional Sales Manager - Chemical Market with responsibility for growing revenue of new equipment and aftermarket sales within the chemical markets in the US & Western Canada. The ideal Regional Sales Manager - Chemical Market candidate will have prior experience selling capital equipment and aftermarket parts and service through sales partner channels as well as direct sales experience. The US & Western Canada Regional Sales Manager - Chemical Market position requires travel and a close proximity (within one hour) to a primary commercial airport.


Regional Sales Manager - Chemical Market Job Summary

Regional Sales Manager - Chemical Market: The primary responsibility for this role is to determine and achieve Chemical Sales targets in an assigned geographic territory within the USA & Western Canada, Manage the sales channel in that territory to achieve the targets, and expand Admix market presence in the Chemical Industry. The sales channel may be a mix of Reps, Distributors, OEM's, and Direct.

Regional Sales Manager - Chemical Market Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage the Regional Sales channel and grow Admix revenue in the assigned region
  • 50% travel to end user facilities (in conjunction with Sales Channel Partners if needed) to discuss and review opportunities for our equipment, working with the inside sales team for applications/technical support and for preparing proposals, overseeing field trials of our equipment, and working with the Lab Manager to arrange end user product testing
  • Work closely with our service team to make sure that assigned regional customer base is connected to us and aware of the many services that we offer to keep their equipment in good working order
  • Work with the Director of Sales to help identify new products and existing product modifications to meet current and future chemical market needs
  • Work with the Director of Sales to develop an annual sales and marketing plan
  • Participation in trade shows and booth preparation
  • Manage and monitor the activities of assigned Rep offices
  • Be present at Admix when customers within the geographical territory visit Admix or coordinate for coverage from other sales team members
  • Utilize CRM as a primary sales tool, and keep CRM data for customers, contacts, leads, and opportunities updated
Regional Sales Manager - Chemical Market Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Must have superior communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Willingness to work with end users before, during, and after the sale
  • Strong sense of urgency and rapid response time
  • Ability to develop and build relationships
  • Solid technical ability and knowledge in Chemical Manufacturing Process
