Position Information
Job Title PT LAB ASSISTANT-COMPUTER PROGRAMMING (Pool) Position Status Part Time Classification Title Part-Time Lab Assistant-Up to 17 hpw Work Location Main Campus-3600 N. Garfield, Midland, TX Job Summary
Assist student with assignments, maintain computers and equipment.
Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Computer literacy including knowledge of programming languages, databases and Microsoft Office software
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks while providing close attention to detail
  • Ability to adapt to a constantly changing environment
  • Ability to move or lift/move up to 30 pounds
Preferred Qualifications
  • Computer Programming major
Essential Functions
  • Assist students with assignments
  • Proctor exams
  • Maintain professional teaching environment
  • Increase overall course evaluation ratings
  • Maintain a clean and safe working and learning area
  • Other duties as assigned
Physical Demands
  • Ability to see and hear
  • Ability to communicate orally with students and employees
  • Ability to move or lift or move up to 30 pounds
  • Ability to sit, stand, walk, and pull hands overhead
Security Sensitivity

Min Salary $11.00 per hour Max Salary $15.50 per hour Pay Statement Salary is commensurate with educational qualifications and experience.
