Job description

Florida certified clinical medical assistant or certified medical assistant opening in private Internal Medicine primary care practice. 

Must be comfortable working in front office and back office roles in a professional clinical environment whose practice hours are Monday-Friday, 7am-4pm CT with employee shifts of 40 hours per work week.

Front office reception duties include receiving patients to check in for appointments and to set appointments. Key skill includes answering calls inbound (about 100 calls per day), call triaging messaging, and routing to correct recipient. Other duties include patient insurance and demographics verification, collecting co-pays, and performing visit summary to patients in the practice management computer system.

The back office include providing direct patient care services in support of, and at the direction of MD, DNPs, and APRNs. This position is integral to the clinical team providing intake, charting, CLIA-waived lab services, injections, and other clinical duties as directed by medical provider.

Minimum 2-years direct work experience. Must hold Florida licensure. Standard American English is used in this office. Professional appearance required.
