Job description

The Clinical Assistant (CA) serves as the primary liaison between patients and Providers. The CA provides care and related services to patients in medical centers. We offer multiple site locations (4).
Essential Job Duties:
  • Accurately record vital signs and pertinent observations during the patient's visit.
  • Follow all OSHA, HIPAA, radiation safety, and other relevant procedures. 
  • Display a courteous, empathetic, and respectful attitude.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in taking vital signs and phlebotomy; training available. 
  • Demonstrate proficiency in administering injections; training available.
  • Accurately document medications/injections in health maintenance and NCIR.
  • Accurately collect and process lab samples. 
  • Provide patient education if appropriate and as directed.
  • Monitors check in and work up patients on time.
  • Follows the provider's orders.
  • Timely and accurate documentation.
  • Experience preferred but not required.
