Operations Engineering Everett, Washington Full-time Reports to: Engineering Manager Partners across: R&D, Production, and Service (Repair & Calibration) SECTION 1 Why should you join Fluke Health Solutions - Everett Ops Everett Operations is intentionally transforming how engineering supports the factory - moving from reactive, daily firefighting to a preventive, capability-driven model. This position would be a developing test engineer supporting an assigned product cell, added to relieve the overallocated test-engineering coverage. Builds first-pass-yield and test-development depth under the guidance of senior engineers and the Principal/Metrologist.

SECTION 2 What this role entails: Support test development and fixture maintenance for assigned products. Execute yield-troubleshooting and data analysis under general supervision. Support, maintain and improve test systems throughout the factory.

Assist sustaining and NPI test activities for the cell. Document test methods and contribute to CAPA investigations. Validate test stations per existing processes and document accordingly.

Apply FBS Standard Work; participate in Kaizen. Ensure conformance to the ISO 13485 / FDA 21 CFR 820 quality system. Fortive Business System Expectations Live the Fortive Business System: Kaizen, Standard Work, Problem Solving (root-cause to countermeasure), and Daily Management.

Use visual management and data to drive decisions; sustain improvements rather than re-solve. Contribute to the function's continuous-improvement cadence and transactional/process Kaizen. Job Leveling - Scope & Expectations Knowledge & Expertise: Applies established engineering principles, standards, and procedures to defined problems.

Building functional depth in the assigned discipline. Complexity & Problem-Solving: Solves problems of limited-to-moderate scope using prescribed methods; analyzes defined situations with established precedent. Autonomy & Supervision: Works under general supervision; receives detailed instruction on new work and guidance on most tasks.

Work is reviewed for soundness of judgment and accuracy. Impact & Scope: Decisions affect own assignments and the immediate work cell; errors are typically contained and detected within the cell. Influence & Interaction: Interacts primarily within the team and assigned cell; explains information to peers and technicians.

Adjacent levels: Growth path to Engineer II (P16) as autonomy, problem complexity, and cell ownership increase. SECTION 3 Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in engineering (Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology preferred). 0-3 years of engineering experience (internship/co-op counts).

Foundational test, measurement, data-analysis, and metrology skills. Good understanding of analog and digital based circuitry and ability to read schematics. Preferred Qualifications Exposure to automated test or LabVIEW Root cause analysis experience using various problem-solving methodologies.

Interest in medical device manufacturing. Experience with Quality Management systems in a highly regulated industry. Knowledge of ISO 13485 / FDA 21 CFR 820 requirements is a plus.
