This role utilizes your deep understanding of the Manufacturing Execution System space. While below is a sample of the role, each unique project will provide you the opportunity to develop and grow your MES capabilities.

  • Conduct discussions with senior leaders on functional solution for Integrated Manufacturing Operations Management (iMOM) in Refining and Chemicals sectors
  • Lead and shape discussions on understanding requirements and use cases to be deployed
  • Map current ("As-Is") manufacturing processes and define future ("To-Be") states, ensuring alignment with ISA-95/ISA-88 standards.
  • Define the functional content of the information system, creating blueprints for manufacturing systems (MES, SCADA, LIMS, PLM) and their integration with enterprise platforms (ERP).
  • Translate user needs into functional specifications, user stories, and test scenarios for developers and technical team stakeholders
  • Act as the primary liaison between plant operations, IT, and external vendors to define the solution design.
  • Design and document how data flows across applications (e.g., from production equipment to financial reporting systems) to ensure consistency.
  • Promote and participate in forums for sharing expertise, strengthening Deloitte's collective knowledge, and helping to resolve clients' challenges
  • Collaborate on innovative solutions to bolster the future of the practice

Required Qualifications

  • Refining and Chemicals iMOM experience
  • Process Integration experience
  • Experience in manufacturing application landscape in refining and chemicals across IT and OT layers
  • 10+ years Experience in implementing Refining and chemicals manufacturing systems with 5+ implementations across operations, engineering, HSSE and Maintenance
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Ability to travel up to 50%, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.
