  • Debug software products through the use of systematic tests to develop, apply and maintain quality standards for firm products.
  • Develop, modify and execute software test plans, automated scripts and programs for testing.
  • Analyze and write test standards and procedures.
  • Maintain documentation of test results to assist in debugging and modification of software.
  • Analyze test results to ensure existing functionality and recommends corrective action.
  • Consult with development engineers in resolution of problems.
  • Provide feedback in preparation of technical appraisals of programming languages, systems and computation software.
  • Ensure quality computer integration into the overall functions of scientific computation, data acquisition and processing.
  • Telecommuting permitted.
REQUIREMENTS:
  • Masters’s degree in Applied Computer Science, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or a related field, and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or in a related occupation.
  • Must include 5 years of experience in each of the following: Assessing international trade compliance clearance to access to ITC controlled items; Assessing regulatory compliance attributes and associated rules (agency, regulatory, environmental) as related to hardware components; Using CAD bill of material export formats (Altium, SolidWorks, Pro-E, OrCad, and MicroStation) as well as basic knowledge of generic printed circuit board export formats; Using SAP MRP user interface usage and change control processes to test systems integration between product data manager and SAP; Reviewing system software validation processes to assess product data and support application in a validated state; Designing and reviewing change control and order procurement workflows and processes related to engineering design changes and ordering of hardware; and Using Jira for documenting all user requirements, stories, and test cases, as well as all required linking for a complete traceability matrix to meet software validation requirements.

The annualcompensation range for this full-time position is $125,632 to $130,000. The final base pay offered to the successful candidate will be determined by factors including internal equity, work location, as well as individual qualifications, such as job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
