The Manager,HRISand People Analyticsis responsible forthe administration, optimization, and ongoing success ofDaBella'sWorkday platform and related People systems. This role serves as the primary functional lead for Workday, ensuring the system supports business operations through effective configuration, process improvement, automation, reporting, and strong data integrity.

While Workday has been implemented, significant opportunitiesremainto improve functionality, reduce manual processes, strengthen payroll operations, and enhance the overall employee and manager experience. This position will perform hands-on configuration, partner with Human Resources, Payroll, Recruiting, Information Technology, and business leaders to improve system functionality, andleverageexternal consultants when specialized expertise isrequired.

The Manager will lead the HR Technology team,establishpriorities, develop technical capability, and ensure Workday and related People systems effectively support the needs of the business. This roleis responsible forbuilding team capability, improving day-to-day operations, and continually enhancing the organization's HR technology environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

HRIS Administration and Optimization

  • Serve as the primary functional lead for Workday, overseeing day-to-day administration, configuration, and ongoing system optimization.

  • Perform hands-on configuration within Workday, primarily supporting Core HCM and related modules.

  • Configure andmaintainbusiness processes, security roles, reports, calculated fields, workflows, and other system functionality.

  • Identifyopportunities to improve system usability,eliminatemanual processes, and increase automation.

  • Coordinate Workday releases, including testing, validation, deployment, and end-user communication.

  • Troubleshoot system issues, resolve configuration-related defects, and partner with Workday Support or external consultants on more complex technical issues.

  • Maintain the integrity, accuracy, and security of employee data within Workday.

Business Process Improvement

  • Partner with Human Resources, Payroll, Recruiting, Finance, Information Technology, and business leaders to improve business processes through effective use of Workday.

  • Evaluate current processes and recommend practical system improvements that increase efficiency and reduce administrative effort.

  • Support the continued enhancement of Workday modules, including Payroll, Recruiting, Time Tracking, Absence, Compensation, Performance, Benefits, and Learning, based on business priorities.

  • Work alongside external consultants on larger enhancement projects whilemaintainingownership of day-to-day system administration and internal configuration.

  • Document system processes, configuration changes, and standard operating procedures.

Reporting and People Analytics

  • Develop andmaintainreports, dashboards, and analytics that provide leaders withtimelyandaccurateworkforce information.

  • Improve reporting capabilities and promote consistent data governance across the organization.

  • Support reporting related to headcount, turnover, recruiting, compensation, payroll, compliance, and other workforce metrics.

  • Analyze workforce data and recommend operational improvements based on system insights.

Leadership

  • Lead, coach, and develop the HR Technology team responsible for HRIS administration, reporting, data integrity, and system support.

  • Establish clear expectations, prioritize workloads, and provide ongoing coaching and development.

  • Evaluate team responsibilities andidentifyopportunities to improve efficiency, accountability, and service delivery.

  • Foster collaboration across Human Resources, Payroll, Recruiting, Information Technology, and other business functions to support organizational priorities.

  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement, customer service, and operational excellence.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business Administration, Computer Science, ora relatedfield. Equivalentexperiencemay be considered.

  • Minimum of five years of hands-on Workday administration and configuration experience supporting Core HCM in a production environment.

  • Demonstrated experience configuring Workday business processes, security, reporting, calculated fields, workflow automation, and related system functionality.

  • Working knowledge of Workday beyond Core HCM, including experience supporting Payroll, Recruiting, Time Tracking, Absence, or other functional modules.

  • Experience supporting Workdayoptimizationfollowing implementation orparticipatingin a significant system enhancement initiative.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience developing reports and dashboards for business leaders.

  • Experience improving business processes through HR technology and automation.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

Preferred Skills

  • Minimum of two years of experience leading and developing technical or functional team members.

  • Workday Pro certification or other relevant Workday certifications.

  • Experience working with external Workday implementation or support partners.

  • Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
