COMPUTER INFORMATION SYSTEMS INSTRUCTOR (POOL)
Faculty Part-Time
The position of Computer Information Systems (CIS) Instructor is a pooled position and applications will be reviewed on an as needed, on-going basis.

As a Part-Time CIS Instructor, you will be tasked with teaching online and on campus courses related to computer programming, digital literacy, networking, computer configuration, and computer applications in word processing, database and spreadsheets. The role involves teaching Computer Information System courses for both college transfer and professional technical courses. We need an instructor who understands the importance of education, and the impact that their teaching techniques have on developing students understanding of the topic, which they will be able to apply to their future careers. If you wish to make a positive impact on the lives of our students, you would make a great addition to the Umpqua Community College family.

  • Master's degree in related field required or demonstrated competencies and service in professional field with documentation to support proficiency and high-level of competency may be considered
  • Experience and training in full range of computer information systems (CIS)
