How you will make an Impact (Job Summary)

SPX is a diverse team of unique individuals who all make an impact. As an HRIS Analyst, you will support HR operations, payroll, benefits, and compliance. This role serves as a bridge between HR and IT to ensure system functionality, security, and alignment with organizational goals.

What you can expect in this role (Job Responsibilities)

While each day brings new opportunities at SPX, your core responsibilities will be:

HRIS Management

  • Maintain and update data in HRIS systems, ensuring data integrity and security
  • Participate in configuration and optimization of HR system modules to meet the organization's changing needs
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any data or system issues
  • Test, confirm impacts and propose optional updates to the system from semi-annual system releases
  • Maintain data integrity in systems by running queries, analyzing data and proposing solutions to issues
  • Act as first point of contact for HRIS tickets in ticketing system
  • Create and maintain reports in Success Factors Report Center (table, advanced reporting, scheduling, etc.)

Documentation & Training

  • Participate in HR Projects and initiatives that may require support in development of deliverables, meeting notes, issues logs, quick reference guides, other project documentation, as well as communication and training materials
  • Review vendor documentation on HRIS system upgrades, create and maintain internal test scripts and training materials for system upgrades
  • Train new HR staff on system functionalities and best practices

Process Improvement

  • Identify and propose opportunities to streamline HR processes through automation and improved data management
  • Collaborate with HR and other teams (IT, Finance, etc...) to implement system enhancements and new technologies
  • Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and internal policies

What we are looking for (Experience, Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Education)

Required Experience

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in HRIS Administration
  • Experience with SuccessFactors
  • Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Detail oriented with excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
  • Strong understanding of HR processes and practices
  • High level or proficiency in Excel and other data management tools

Education & Certifications

  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration or a related field or 5 years of relevant work experience

Travel & Working Environment

  • This role may require occasional travel
  • This position will be hybrid with 3 days onsite in the Charlotte office (Tues-Thurs)
