Job description

A career that's the whole package!
At Conga, we've built a community where our colleagues can thrive. Here you'll find opportunities to innovate and support growth through individual and team development, all within an environment where every voice is heard.
Conga lines up commercial operations so companies run as connected, smarter businesses. By unifying the people and processes that drive commerce, Conga aligns pricing, quoting, contracting, rebates, and communications so teams stay in sync and buyers keep moving forward. The result is trusted decisions, consistent buyer experiences, and profitable growth. More than 10,000 customers worldwide, including over 50% of the Fortune 100®, trust Conga when commercial complexity is high and global impact is on the line.
Location: Houston, TX; Boston, MA (Hybrid)Reports to: Sr. Director, Total Rewards
A quick snapshot...As Sr. Manager, HRIS at Conga, you sit at the intersection of technology, data, and people strategy. You will own and optimize our Workday HCM ecosystem-turning complex HR data into clean, trusted insights that power decisions across the business. This isn't just system administration; it's about building the scalable, frictionless infrastructure our People Team needs to deliver against Conga's mission to drive double-digit growth.
You will partner closely with Total Rewards, Talent Acquisition, People Partners, HR Ops, Payroll, Finance, and IT-acting as the connective tissue that translates strategic priorities into efficient, accurate, and automated processes. You bring technical depth in Workday alongside the project management chops and collaborative mindset to execute at the speed Conga moves.
Why it's a big deal...Conga is executing an ambitious company strategy: creating enterprise value by driving double-digit growth with scale. That means unlocking install base value, growing market share through new logos, and achieving recognized product leadership across every category. None of that happens without clean data, compliant systems, and a People Team that operates with precision.
The People Team's FY27 strategy is built on three pillars-Simplify, Communicate, and Deliver-and this role is foundational to all three. You will reduce operational friction by optimizing and streamlining HRIS processes (Simplify), enable better decision-making through reliable data and reporting (Communicate), and ensure our core HR cycles run flawlessly on time (Deliver).
This year, you will play a direct role in:
  • Leading our Workday process optimization and data integrity project
  • Implementing Conga's new global salary structure in Workday, including integration with our new Compensation vendor
  • Driving a successful Open Enrollment rollout across the US, UK, Canada, and India
  • Supporting high-priority People Team initiatives such as Return to Office, Performance Management redesign, Succession Planning, and more
  • Completing acquisition data integration project to unify our workforce data
  • Deploying the Annual Compensation Planning (ACP)

In short: when HRIS runs well, the entire People Team-and the business-runs better. This role is your opportunity to make that happen at a company that is moving fast and thinking big.
Here's what we're looking for...
Related experience. You have a proven track record of implementing and improving business processes within Workday and are recognized as a technical expert in modules such as Advanced Compensation, Benefits, and Performance. You're also experienced supporting Talent Acquisition through dashboards, data reporting, and analytics, as well as integration with Greenhouse. You understand what it means to transform HRIS to keep pace with a high-growth company.
Strategic thinking. You can connect the micro and the macro visions, anticipate transformational needs. You partner with IT and cross-functional teams for creative solutions-resolving internal client needs efficiently and effectively.
Quality oriented. You have strong processes in place so errors are rare. When they do occur, you own them, correct them, communicate transparently, and build safeguards to prevent recurrence. You maintain a continuous mindset of auditing data and processes to find optimization and simplification opportunities.
Strong project management skills. You drive clarity through complexity-aligning multiple stakeholders, delivering timely and accurate results, and building the project plans, delegations, and test scripts that keep everything on track.
Here's what will give you an edge...
Initiative. You don't wait to be told what needs to happen. You proactively identify gaps-inside and outside your scope-and you take ownership. You bring an entrepreneurial spirit to every problem.
Resourceful & collaborative. At Conga, we achieve together. When you face challenges, you find solutions-drawing on colleagues, your professional network, and whatever else it takes. Then you share what you learn to lift the whole team.
Expert relationship builder and customer service mindset. You genuinely enjoy building relationships and go beyond being pleasant-you invest in understanding the needs of your internal clients to deliver the highest level of service and support.
In the spirit of the Conga Way, we strive to design easy-to-understand compensation programs that are fair and free from any type of discrimination. In keeping with this approach, we are committed to delivering competitive compensation and benefits packages to our colleagues worldwide and communicating transparently about the structure of our compensation programs.
