Job description

Compensation:
Pay Range: $55-$90/hr, depending on experience and scope.

Responsibilities
  • Design, configure, test, and support Workday solutions across key functional areas such as Core HCM, Absence, Benefits, Recruitment, and Performance Management.
  • Serve as a Workday reporting and analytics expert, developing and maintaining advanced reports, dashboards, and calculated fields using Workday Report Writer and Prism Analytics.
  • Lead and execute system upgrades, releases, and enhancements, ensuring business continuity and compliance with organizational standards.
  • Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot integrations between Workday and third-party systems using Workday Studio, EIBs, REST/SOAP APIs, and Workday Extend.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (HR, IT, Finance, and Compliance) to identify opportunities to optimize workflows, automation, and self-service tools.
  • Act as a key liaison for data governance and security, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and adherence to privacy standards.
  • Support Workday tenant configuration, testing, and documentation in alignment with organizational changes and process improvements.
  • Provide end-user training, technical guidance, and documentation to improve adoption and data literacy.
  • Manage and prioritize multiple concurrent HRIS projects, coordinating with internal stakeholders and vendors.
  • Utilize modern analytics tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Workday People Analytics for workforce insights and KPI tracking.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Human Resources, or related field; equivalent experience considered.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience supporting Workday HCM and related modules (integration, reporting, or configuration).
  • Strong understanding of Workday reporting, security, business processes, and integration tools (Workday Studio, EIB, PECI, REST/SOAP APIs).
  • Familiarity with Workday Extend and Prism Analytics preferred.
  • Experience leading or supporting HRIS upgrades, implementations, or system optimization projects.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365, including Excel (Power Query, Power Pivot) and Power BI.
  • Strong project management skills; PMP or Agile/Scrum certification is a plus.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into business-friendly language.
  • Experience working across HR, Diversity & Inclusion, and Corporate Operations teams to deliver data-driven insights and solutions.
  • Location: Candidates must be local to Massachusetts; this position requires some onsite collaboration.
