Job Summary:
AERMOR is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Data Engineer to support data analysis and data management functions across enterprise and test environments. The successful candidate will have proven technical capability in data mining, integration, transformation, visualization, and backend data systems, along with experience supporting data collection and verification activities.
Responsibilities:
• Perform data mining, cleaning, integration, transformation, manipulation, and visualization for small to large datasets.
• Apply software and programming languages and tools such as R, Python, SAS, SPSS, STATA, Tableau, and PowerBI to support data analysis and reporting.
• Design, implement, and maintain data management systems to support collection, storage, and lifecycle management of test data.
• Develop data collection plans, including methodologies and storage strategies for raw and processed data.
• Support verification and validation of data collection and accreditation plans in test planning activities.
• Manage and coordinate the equipment and resources required to implement data collection during testing.
• Incorporate AI/ML techniques into data analysis workflows.
• Analyze structured and unstructured data, leveraging backend technologies such as SQL, NoSQL, and High‑Performance Computing (HPC).
Qualifications:
Required:
• Undergraduate or graduate degree in one of the following disciplines: Data Science, Computer/Information Science, Information Systems Management, Archives/Digitization Management, Management of Information Systems, Mathematics, or Engineering.
• In lieu of degree: equivalent coursework that involved the development or adaptation of computer programs and systems providing knowledge comparable to a major in the Data Science field.
• Active Secret clearance is required.
