Job description

Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology isseeking a Client Services Technician to join the Enterprise InformationTechnology (EIT) Department. The Client Services Technician isresponsible for repairing, maintaining, and troubleshooting student laptops andother Institute-owned computer systems. This role also supports and maintainscampus printers used by employees and students in public areas. Keyresponsibilities include identifying, investigating, and resolving basictechnical issues, managing hardware inventory, scheduling equipmentmaintenance, and performing routine hardware repairs.

The successful candidate willconfigure and deploy new devices for employees and students, providerecommendations regarding technology and service solutions, and deliver and setup workstations and other hardware in accordance with Institute standards andbest practices. This position also provides first-level technical supportthrough walk-in assistance, on-site visits, phone calls, and emailcommunications.

Additionally, the Client ServicesTechnician will install, configure, and maintain software required for networkconnectivity, backups, server access, and other computing services to ensure areliable and secure technology environment for the campus community.

Qualified candidates will have a highschool diploma or GED. One to three years of relevant work experience.

Preferred candidates will have anassociate degree or vocational or technical school degree.

Pay range is 22.84 - 26.68 (or47,500 - 55,500 annually). Pay is competitive. A higher pay may be negotiatedbased on experience and qualifications.
