Senior Flight Control Hardware Engineer

Lafayette, LA | Full-Time | Drone Electronics

Help design the hardware behind America's next generation of drones.

DMR Technologies is seeking a Flight Control Hardware Engineer to lead the design, revision, validation, and production of our drone flight control electronics.

This position owns hardware from concept through production while working alongside firmware and manufacturing teams.

What You'll Do
  • Design and revise flight controller hardware
  • Create schematics and PCB layouts
  • Select components and manage EOL replacements
  • Support prototype builds and production
  • Optimize manufacturability
  • Collaborate with firmware engineers
What We're Looking For
  • 5+ years of hardware design experience
  • Altium, PADS, or similar PCB tools
  • Drone, robotics, aerospace, or industrial electronics
  • Experience with GNSS, RTK, IMU, MCU, power electronics
  • Mass production experience
