Use your advanced knowledge of hardware engineering fundamentals to help Honeywell Aerospace deliver innovative solutions that meet the evolving needs of our customers. You will work with limited supervision and alongside some of the world's most talented engineers. You will contribute to the development of Honeywell's next generation of Flight Control products by designing, testing and validating products from prototype to market. You will be responsible for Flight Control products in the factory and the field. You will be part of a group of highly committed professionals who provide expertise and ensure the success of engineering projects and programs.
Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in the hardware design process, from concept to production.
  • Provide product engineering support to the factory and the customer
  • Guide engineers, technicians and associates to ensure project and product compliance
  • Mentor and coach junior level engineers
  • Consult with vendors and suppliers to ensure product and project compliance
  • Identify opportunities and propose technical improvements by applying advanced electrical engineering knowledge and principles

Report to: Directory of Engineering
Location: Phoenix, AZ
Work Schedule: M-F (hybrid after 90 days)
Qualifications
YOU MUST HAVE
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics.
  • Minimum of 8 years of Hardware development experience.
  • Strong knowledge of hardware design principles and methodologies.

  • Understanding of a variety of hardware engineering standards and specifications, especially DO-254 and DO-160
  • Strong Digital and Analog design skills

  • Excellent computer literacy
  • Clearly and concisely convey complex messages to a variety of audiences
  • Ability to quickly analyze, incorporate and apply new information and concepts
  • Willingness to consistently take the initiative to get things done
