Description:
Under direct supervision, performs routine and repetitive assembly operations and processes. Requires use of a few simple hand tools. Typically requires a high school education or equivalent and less than one year of training and/or experience. Frequently reports to an Assembly Supervisor or Production Supervisor.
Responsibilities:
The employee receives a written order from the supervisor and interprets what parts are required.
The employee retrieves necessary components from the warehouse
Employee is responsible for stocking hardware bins in the assembly area
Employee is responsible for the correct and timely assembly of the finished coupling
The employee may be required to place identification markings on the product
Stage the finished coupling for shipping department
Read and understand engineering drawings
House Keeping duties as required
Work in constant state of alertness
Regular and predictable attendance
Work cooperatively with co-workers
Laminating of disc packs
Reading digital measuring tools
Read and use measuring tape
Stocking parts in location as required
Using power saw and air nail / staple guns
Use lifting devices: bridge cranes and or jib cranes
Drive forklifts: sit-down and stand-up
Other duties as assigned
