Purpose
This standard defines the Manufacturing Controls Engineer Job Description.
Scope
This standard applies to the Clanton plant of Adient
Responsibilities and duties:
Design, develop, and supervise electrical control systems, equipment and machinery
Installation and technical support of PLC hardware and software. Programmable knowledge in Siemens and Allen Bradley PLC's.

Assist with needs assessment for computer and software requirements in all areas of the facility.
Assist with PLC and PC training as required.
Designs, codes, tests and debugs simple programs. Maintains and documents programs.

Assistshigher level programmer/analyst/engineer with design work. Follows established methods andprocedures.

Responds to disruptions of production systems in a timely and appropriate manner.
Helps provide solutions in making technical logic meet the needs of the users.
