Job description

We are seeking a driven and innovative Hardware Engineer with a strong background in gaming technology to join our dynamic Engineering Team. This role is ideal for a motivated and creative professional with hands-on experience designing and developing electronic systems used in the gaming industry, including casino and arcade-style gaming machines.
As part of a collaborative and fast-paced environment, you'll contribute to the development of cutting-edge hardware platforms that power immersive gaming experiences. This position offers the opportunity to work across multiple engineering disciplines to bring next-generation gaming products to life.
Key Responsibilities
  • Act as a technical leader and contributor in the design and development of electronic components and systems used specifically in gaming platforms.
  • Translate system-level requirements into detailed hardware designs including PCBA, harnesses, and integrated sub-systems.
  • Collaborate with Game Designers, Software/Firmware Developers, and System Engineers to implement game control logic and electronic interfaces.
  • Ensure designs comply with gaming jurisdiction requirements (GLI, UL, FCC, etc.) and support certifications for global regulated markets.
  • Provide expert-level support for sustaining engineering, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement efforts during the product lifecycle.
  • Partner with mechanical engineers to ensure proper form, fit, and function of hardware within gaming cabinets.
  • Interface with contract manufacturers and internal Operations to support prototype builds, pilot runs, and production scaling.
  • Create and maintain detailed documentation for design specs, testing procedures, integration, and manufacturing release.

Qualifications & Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (Master's preferred), with 5+ years of hands-on experience in gaming hardware development.
  • Proven expertise in developing technologies commonly used in gaming devices, such as touchscreens, LED lighting, displays, audio systems, and player interaction modules.
  • Experience with FPGA, PCBA design, and embedded system development using 3D electrical CAD tools and lab instrumentation.
  • Familiarity with communication protocols like USB, SATA, PCIe, SPI, I2C, Ethernet, etc.
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance and experience developing products in accordance with global EMC and safety standards.
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and collaboration skills-able to work seamlessly across engineering and creative disciplines.
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
