Job description

Job Summary:
NVIDIA has been a leader in innovation for over 25 years, focusing on AI, computer graphics, and accelerated computing. They are seeking a Verification Engineer to ensure the quality of their compiler technology by designing C++ tests and automating compiler testing processes.
Responsibilities:
โ€ข Design industry grade C++ testsuite, focusing on modern C++ standards C++23/26.
โ€ข Identify potential gaps in current test procedures and leverage modern LLM technologies to increase quality of C++ testing.
โ€ข Automate compiler testing using NVIDIA test frameworks and programming. This includes test execution, test reporting, results analysis, and automation of build and test environments.
โ€ข Apply current iterative planning and test development processes in existing test coverage and work on closing test gaps.
Qualifications:
Required:
โ€ข Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science/computer engineering or equivalent experience
โ€ข 3+ yearsโ€™ work experience in a software development or test organization.
โ€ข Proficiency in programming and/or testing in C++ and advanced level of understanding ISO C++20/23/26 features.
โ€ข Expertise in compilers / low-level software tools, understanding how they work and are implemented, with a proven track record to solve problems and implement solutions.
โ€ข Experience in writing test plans, test development, test automation, test execution, and reporting in a production environment.
โ€ข Deep understanding of Software Development Process (SDLC), High-Performance Computing (HPC), and Software Testing Methodologies.
โ€ข Excellent interpersonal skills, self-motivated, and well-organized.
Preferred:
โ€ข 5+ yearsโ€™ experience testing production software, preferably compilers or other system software specifically in testing programming languages using modern AI /LLM technologies.
โ€ข Previous experience in compiler development, verification/testing, or performance analysis (i.e., developing/testing C++ runtime libraries, built-ins/Intrinsics.)
โ€ข Experience working with low-level ISA - ARM64, X64, RISC-V.
โ€ข Experience in ABI verification is a bonus.
โ€ข Background with revision control software and management tools, such as Git, Perforce, JIRA and Make.
