SierTeK Ltd. is seeking a Digital Marketing and Communications Coordinator to support an opportunity at Wright Patterson AFB.

POSITION OVERVIEW SECTION

We are seeking a creative and collaborative Digital Marketing & Communications Specialist to support strategic communications, branding, and multimedia initiatives in a dynamic professional environment. The ideal candidate will possess experience in digital marketing, graphic design, communications strategy, and audiovisual support, with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams.

This role supports marketing and communications efforts through digital content creation, branding support, visual communications, and stakeholder engagement while ensuring compliance with organizational branding standards and communication policies.

Essential Job Functions

Digital Marketing & Communications

  • Provide digital marketing consultation to members, programs, and stakeholders as directed by the Government Representative.
  • Support professional marketing and mass communications activities.
  • Participate in communications and marketing initiatives aligned with strategic communication goals.
  • Lead and collaborate within teams of mass communications professionals.

Graphic Design & Branding

  • Create, design, and edit digital signage content.
  • Ensure all developed products comply with AFRL/PA brand standards and related branding requirements.
  • Support the development of branding materials, logos, coins, and marketing collateral.

Audio Visual & Equipment Support

  • Assist in the inventory and maintenance of studio audiovisual and computer-related equipment.
  • Support ordering, storing, coding, database entry, inventory tracking, and disposal of audiovisual/computer equipment.

Collaboration & Special Projects

  • Support additional projects within assigned skill sets, including:
    • writing continuity documents
    • attending or presenting at local eLearning symposiums
    • defining capabilities for potential customers
    • collaborating with local colleges and multi-service partners
    • supporting special projects as directed by the Government Representative

Security & Compliance

  • Maintain a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) through the supporting company.
  • Ensure NDA documentation is provided to the Program Manager to protect confidential, proprietary, and sensitive information.

Minimum Position Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, Journalism, Public Relations, or related field.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in digital marketing, advertising, communications, or educational marketing.
  • Experience working within cross-functional teams alongside graphic designers, photographers, videographers, and other creative professionals.
  • Experience with digital signage platforms, including understanding screen ratios, motion graphics, and optimal content duration.
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Adobe InDesign and Illustrator.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of visual hierarchy, color theory, typography, and layout principles.

Highly Desired Qualifications

  • Familiarity with Department of Defense branding and communication policies, including guidance such as The Tongue and Quill.
  • Professional certifications such as:
    • HubSpot Academy Content Marketing Certification
    • Digital Marketing Institute Certification
    • Certified Digital Marketing Professional (CDMP)
