Job description

Job Title: Associate, Electrical Engineering

Job Location: Waco, Texas

Job Description:

The exact role will depend on the skillset of the candidate and the needs of the projects, but below are roles that are typically needed:

       Contribute directly to projects that integrate new systems and technologies onto existing aircraft platforms

       Identify areas for continuous improvement in current work processes

       Develop or provide updates to aircraft electrical drawings, including wiring diagrams and cable assembly drawings

       Select components and equipment based on analysis of requirements and specifications

       Perform or provide updates to aircraft electrical analyses, such as Electrical Load Analysis (power budgets)

       Provide liaison support to electrical manufacturing and electrical installation teams

       Perform Electromagnetic Engineering analyses and modeling, including antenna cosite, lightning, and HERF/HERP/HERO

       Support aircraft-level testing for electromagnetic compatibility (EMC), P-Static, EMRADHAZ, and TEMPEST

       Develop or update test procedures and test reports

Qualifications:

To be eligible, applicants must be pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical & Computer Engineering, or related field or have completed their Bachelor's degree within the last 12 months, regardless of age.

Preferred Skills:

       Knowledge and/or experience with:

o   Electrical CAD tools, such as Visual Engineer, AutoCAD Electrical or Mentor Graphics Capital Harness
