Job description

  • Create/maintain Bill of Material (BOM) and process routings in ERP system; obtains and documents all relevant specifications for BOM
  • Procure materials for preproduction/prototype builds and research projects
  • Maintain Inventory of all materials for prototype/preproduction builds and development materials
  • Support researching materials for technology advancement
  • Prepare presentations for customers as needed
  • Assist with document standardization and improvement activities
  • Lead PFMEA reviews
  • Maintain BOS Slides and Engineering KPIs
  • Support and track training for Engineering Team
  • Support internal audits
  • Interface with customers and suppliers as needed
  • Implement and manage engineering change process in PLM system
  • implement and manage program management flow in PLM System
  • Manage cad data storage and maturity flow process in PLM System
  • Participate in cross functional teams and other duties as required
  • Lead/Support 5S and Continuous Improvement activities

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Able to use power tools and measuring tools
  • Demonstrate strong emphasis on customer service
  • Ability to meet deadlines; accomplish work in order of priority; professionally maintain composure and effectiveness under pressure and changing conditions while maintaining confidentiality

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to lift and move objects up to 20 pounds. Must be able to hear, talk, walk, stand, bend and sit, use hands to finger, handle, or touch office equipment an office and production environment.    Ability to travel between plant locations as required.
