Engineering Lead - Electrical Systems 

Location: Crookston, MN
Pay: Starting at $80,000/year, depending on experience
Schedule: Full-time
Travel: Less than 15%

Are you an electrical or computer engineer who enjoys solving complex problems and seeing your work make an immediate impact?

We’re looking for an Engineering Lead – Electrical Systems to join an established manufacturing team in Crookston, MN. You’ll work closely with production to troubleshoot electrical and programming issues, develop solutions, and keep operations moving efficiently.

What You'll Do

  • Investigate and resolve electrical and programming issues discovered on the production line.
  • Participate in electrical checkouts and support the successful launch of new production builds.
  • Create and release programming updates and engineering solutions.
  • Analyze J1939 network traffic to help diagnose electrical and communication issues.
  • Test electrical and programming solutions in the manufacturing environment.
  • Support supplier application approvals, vendor testing, configuration audits, and other production activities.
  • Monitor production progress, identify potential roadblocks, and work with teams to resolve issues quickly.
  • Partner with engineering, production, suppliers, and other teams to identify root causes and implement solutions.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement and process improvement initiatives.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical/Engineering Technology, or a related field — or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 2+ years of related industry or technology experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of vehicle electrical systems.
  • Knowledge of high-voltage systems.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to travel less than 15%.
