Job Description
Responsibilities
Proficiency in computer aided design (CAD) with demonstrated experience with computer aided
Use drafting applications to originate and produce drawings with minimum supervision
3 D modeling experience required (S 3 D preferred)
Read, interpret and generate design drawings with minimal input from a member of the engineering staff_
Must have the ability to walk down field systems with minimal guidance, interpret field direction, generate minor design details, create new drawings, modify existing drawings, and direct junior drafters

Basic Job Requirements
Must be a U_ S _ Citizen
Must have a minimum of an associate degree in a field related to the position and a minimum of 1 0 years progressive experience in drafting related to Engineering and Construction (nuclear preferred)
Must have a working knowledge of Federal (including Department of Energy Orders), State, and Local codes and standards applicable to specialized (nuclear or other areas) engineering design
Background and experience must include drafting/designer experience in engineering fields, such as electrical, mechanical, structural, communications, architectural, fire protection or civil

Work Environment / Physical Demands:
Work is performed in an office environment and requires the ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards. Light to moderate lifting may be required for packages and other items, ability to walk short distances, may be regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear, reach, stoop, kneel, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer, telephone, and keyboard.

Due to government and/or federal regulations for this position, proof of U.S. citizenship is required.
