Job Summary:

As a Network Software Integration Engineer on the Starlink program, you will develop integrated testing infrastructure to enhance the satellite internet experience, working closely with developers to validate and deploy network features.
Responsibilities:
• Develop fast and reliable integrated test systems architecture for the Starlink network.
• Work across teams to deliver dynamic and capable end-to-end testing solutions.
• Debug software and network failures in hardware-in-the-loop test environments.
• Identify and resolve testing coverage gaps across the network.
• Participate in architecture, design, and code reviews.
• Develop tools for software development and deployment, data analysis and visualization, and test execution across multiple environments, including virtualized hardware environments, real hardware-in-the-loop simulations, and on-orbit testing.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor’s degree in electrical and computer engineering, computer science, physics, or science discipline; OR 2+ years of professional experience in software development in lieu of a degree (internship experience is applicable).
• Development experience in Python and/or C++.
• Must be willing to work extended hours and weekends as needed.
Preferred:
• Developed, debugged, and deployed software that has been used in real world applications/project.
• Knowledgeable in containerization frameworks (Docker, K8s) and associated tooling.
• Ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment with changing needs and requirements.
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
• Strong understanding of Linux Operating Systems and bash scripting.
• Hands on experience with working with OSI-model layer 2 and 3.
• Hands-on lab experience with familiarity of spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, electrical power equipment and PCBAs.
