Windows OS Validation & Test Engineer

Redmond, WA

We are looking for a Windows OS Validation & Test Engineer to install, validate, and test latest Windows OS builds and ensure same-day execution of test cases with quick issue identification and resolution.

Key Skills
C#, PowerShell & Batch Scripting
Windows OS Validation & Test Automation
Windows Debugging & Windows Server
WTT (Windows Test Technology)
Power BI (basic reporting)
Responsibilities
Install and validate latest Windows OS builds
Execute same-day test cases after installation
Identify and report issues, blockers, and failures
Collect and analyze system logs (Event Viewer, crash dumps, performance logs)
Work with feature and triage teams to resolve issues
Maintain clear documentation of test results and defects
Requirements
Strong experience in Windows OS validation
Good debugging and troubleshooting skills
Ability to work in fast-paced, tight deadlines
Strong communication & coordination skills
Experience working with cross-functional teams
