Statement of Work — Roadway Engineer EI

Full-service, multi-disciplined firm in Longwood, FL. Entry Level Roadway Engineering Intern with EI License to join Roadway Team. 1-4 years experience.

Responsibilities
  • Assisting Professional Engineers in development of conventional roadway plan sets for FDOT and City/County clients
  • Work with experienced Engineers and Project Managers to develop accurate design
  • Developing 2D & 3D models for roadway design projects meeting FDOT submittal standards
  • Prepare submittal packages for agency permitting and phased review submittals
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and CAD technology
  • Assist Senior Engineers/Project Managers in project duties
Qualifications
  • BS or MS in Civil Engineering from ABET accredited institution
  • 0-4 years post-graduation experience with geometric layout of intersections and roadways
  • Engineering Intern (EI) License required
  • Working knowledge of FDOT, AASHTO, and MUTCD standards
  • Strong technical writing and communication skills
  • Preferred: MicroStation, Open Roads Designer Connect Edition, Microsoft Office 365
