Public Works Engineering Intern
Alachua County Public Works is seeking an Engineering Intern to assist with civil engineering and public works projects. This internship is a great opportunity for students interested in gaining hands-on experience in transportation engineering, roadway work, and other infrastructure-related projects, including traffic studies and traffic data collection.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Must be currently enrolled in an accredited two- or four-year college or university, or a technical school taking college-level courses.
  • Must successfully complete a criminal history background investigation prior to employment.
Preferred degree programs in: Civil Engineering, Public Works, Transportation, or a closely related field.
Pay
  • Undergraduate Student: $18.50/hour
  • Graduate Student: $19.00/hour
