Shift:

The regular hours for this position are Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and every other Saturday from 6:00pm to 6:15am. You will receive a 15% shift differential for working on the night shift.

Job Description:

The Manufacturing Operator 1 is an entry-level role responsible for supporting daily production activities within the probe card manufacturing environment. This position performs a variety of hands-on tasks to ensure high-quality products, smooth workflow, and continuous process optimization. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, eager to learn, and thrives in a fast-paced, team-focused setting.

Key Responsibilities:

Production & Process Execution

  • Perform manufacturing processes including assembly, testing, inspection, and basic troubleshooting of probe card components.

  • Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and safety guidelines to ensure consistent and reliable output.

Equipment Operation

  • Set up, operate, and calibrate manufacturing equipment under established guidelines.

  • Conduct routine preventative maintenance to maintain equipment readiness and reduce downtime.

Data Collection & Process Optimization

  • Collect, document, and interpret operating data to make real-time equipment adjustments that uphold quality and process standards.

  • Support continuous improvement activities by identifying opportunities to streamline processes and reduce defects.

Collaboration & Technical Support

  • Work closely with engineering teams to run tests, experiments, and data-gathering activities that support new product development or process refinement.

  • Assist in the training and coaching of fellow operators or technicians to promote teamwork, knowledge sharing, and technical growth.

Pay Range Explained:

This role in Livermore, California pays between $17.05 and $22.37 per hour, depending on your experience, skills, and background. Pay may vary in other locations. You'll also be eligible for quarterly profit-sharing bonuses and flexible spending or savings accounts.
